The rest of the Fourth of July

After the parade we ran home and Cash and I changed clothes and put our swimsuits on so that we could head over to my friend Angie's house and a cookout and swimming for the afternoon.  The kids love getting to go over to her house, she has a really big pool with a diving board and slide and Cash loves getting to go off both of them.

From the second that we got there both kids were in the water. Cash stayed in the pool for the entire 5 hours that we were there. If he has a chance I think that he might turn into a fish!

We left Angies around 530pm and went home grabbed our goodies and headed out to Whit's house to cookout dinner with them. The kids ran and played hide and seek for hours out there. Cash hid in the sand box. You can see them trying to find him. All the kids played really good together and we anxious to go and watch the fireworks once it got dark.

We left the Weems house around 9pm and headed into town to watch the Fireworks. Whit and Mandy followed us in thier car and Whitney road with us. Cash and Palin would not have it any other way. They both adore Whitney. We parked across the street from the park in the bank parking lot with the rest of the town to watch the show. The kids watched the fireworks from the bed of Whits truck while the adults had out lawn chairs.

The kids were exhausated by the time the fire works were over. They lasted about 15 seconds in the car and were passed out asleep before we even left the parking lot to head home. We got home about 11pm that night. They had a full day.... We got home and placed  them each in thier beds, before we started our trek to Houston in the morning.  We had a great 4th. It was the busiest one that we have ever had!
