Turkey Day

This was our first Thanksgiving at our house and Mom and Dad came up to have it at our house. Palin threw away the indian headband that she made at school so she insisted on making a new one. Grandma agreed and took her to dollar tree to get stuff to make a new one. She was pretty excited about it once it was done.

After a yummt Thanksgiving lunch, Toby and I headed to College Station to the Texas A&M game and the kids hung out with mom and dad for the evening.

Getting pictures of the kids is almost impossible!!!

Jackets Playoff Bound

We attended almost all  of the Yellow Jackets football games this season. The kids had a great time going to them. We were even able to go to most of the away games too.

They lost last week and were only two games away from going to state. At the last game it was played in Mineral Wells, and the people that built the stadium there were actually a customer of Toby's.  Since Toby knew the guy, he told him to bring Cash up to the press box when we got there that night. Cash thought it was pretty neat to go up in the press box and watch part of the game, but missed all the noise and cheering and wanted to go back to the bleachers.

We had a great time this fall cheering on the YellowJackets!

Starting to feel like Christmas

Its starting to feel like Christmas. We decorated our tree the other evening, and went to the Dublin light parade.

After the parade the kiddos got to decorate cookies in one of the buildings in downtown Dublin. The kids had a great time!

Palin's Birthday

Sunday morning was Palin's real birthday when she would actually be 4.  She had a few presents left to open that morning before mom and dad left. We had a low key day on this day. We had family pictures taken in the afternoon and the kids played golf in the backyard until dinner time. Palin wanted Chicken Express and biscuits for her birthday supper, so we enjoyed that.

Palin's Party

Saturday morning we had a Royal Breakfast celebration for Palin for her 4th birthday.  We started early and had her party at 830am, since Cash had football that afternoon. She was so excited that her party day was finally here. We had a Sofia the First birthday.

Months ago she started telling me that she wanted a bounce house for her party. When they showed up and started setting it up, she was so excited! She loved it!

She wanted cupcakes this year for her party and wanted the candle on her cupcake. She was very particular on what she wanted this year. We had a great party with friends and family!

Halloween 2014

Halloween fell on a Friday this year, so the kids got the chance to dress up for school in one outfit and that evening in another. Palin did not want to wear her clown outfit to school so she opted for a costume that she had in her dress up bucket.

Cash chose to just wear his batman cape to school on Friday, as they were not supposed to dress up in costumes but could dress up like a character in a book.

At work I dressed up as Cat in The Hat and two of the other girls that I work with dressed up as Thing one and Things two. Our whole HR team dressed up in come capacity on Halloween.

Friday night after I picked the kids up we headed home to change into their Trick or Treat costumes. Cash was an astronaunt this year and Palin was a friendly clown.

We went to a Halloween party at our friends house for dinner and then headed out trick or treating.

While trick or treating we ran into one of Palin's friends from her soccer team, and they wanted to take their picture together.

The kids lasted about 45 minutes and were tired of walking and ready to call it a night!

Homecoming

Last Friday night was the Stephenville Homecoming game. Lois made Palin her first mum to wear to it. She was pretty excited about it. We headed up to the stadium early to make sure that we would have a seat.

It was a good game and the YellowJackets ended up winning. Palin's little friend Kash sat with us, so that kept her entertained through the game. Palin would stand up on the bleachers during the game and start cheering. She was really excited whenever the ''real cheerleaders" performed.

Pumpkin Patch

Sunday afternoon we headed out to the pumpkin patch for the afternoon. We went to this pumpkin patch last year but they had added a lot of things this year.

They built a large slide and the kids enjoyed sliding down it a million times while we were there.

They got to have horse races around the barrels that they had set up. We went on a hay ride while we were there also.

The kids and Toby enjoyed getting to play a life size game of Tic Tac toe, with pumpkins while we were there.
