Its beginning to FEEL alot like Christmas!

Well ever since Thanksgiving the last couple of weeks have been a blur. Toby and I have had something everyweekend and have something every day till Christmas. We have tried to do anything and everything Christmas related and go see that we could. I have two Christmas parties that we had to attend for my office and Toby had his. My dad went back to work part time and so my mom has had Cash during our events.

Here is the Gingerbread train that she bought for her and Cash to make! He loved it and its my centerpiece on my kitchen table right now. He loves trains so this was perfect for him. Wednesday Toby and I took off and went with my parents to Palestine, Texas. They bought the 5 of us tickets to ride on the Polar Express.
Here the train is coming into the station to pick us up. The train left at 5pm and drove to the north pole. It was great timing since there was still light when we got on the train but by the time that we arrived at the North Pole it was dark.

Here we are looking out the window once the train was arriving at the North Pole. Once we got there we had to wait for Santa and his elves to get on board. Cash was so excited to get to see Santa's house. Along the train ride they served us hot chocalate and cookies.
The whole train sang Christmas carols, and had a really great time. Cash and all the kiddos wore their pj's on the train just like in the Polar express book. Here is Cash and Toby singing and clapping to festive songs along the way.
Santa came by each row to see each kid and gave them thier very special bell. Cash rang it most of the drive home! (Which like I said earlier was in Palestine so that was 2 hours!)

Here we are waiting for the train to come into the station.

We had a lot of fun and are looking foward to the next week before Christmas, I think that we have one more holiday trip planned on Sunday and a wedding on Saturday!!

Happy Fall!!

Happy Fall! We are loving that the weather is starting to cool down some here in Texas!! Cash is growing like a weed. He moved up at daycare now that we are fully potty trained, he is back with his friends at school and so excited about it!

When Toby was gone hunting in October we went to Jayson and Erin's house and went to the park to play. Cash had a blast!
Jayson even took Cash to feed the ducks and they had fun! I think that they went through a whole loaf of bread feeding them. Jayson is great with Cash, and I think that Cash wanted a break from just me and needed some guy time while Toby was gone! Thanks Jayson!

Cash is finally coming around to liking Hunter now that he can sit up and crawl and play with him a little! We can not wait for another 6 months or so when Hunter is chasing Cash!!

Happy Halloween

Well I am a little late in posting Halloween pics, but better late than never!! My mom made Cash's and my costume since I had to dress up this year since we were having a carnival at work.
Cash is in love with Mickey Mouse right now, so this was the perfect year for him to Mickey Mouse.

I love his costume and believe it or not so did he. He wore it to school on Friday and trick or treating on Saturday.

I love this picture of my boys! Its actually my screeen saver at work. Notice the pumpkin has Mickey mouse ears also?

Our family picture! I think that mom should have made Toby a goofy outfit and he would have fit in just perfect with Cash and me!

Minnie and Mickey Mouse

My parents came up Saturday to see us before we left since mom had not gotten to see the costumes complete on us yet!

Cash had so much fun going door to door to get candy! He would run and run and if Cole got ahead of him, he would say... WAIT FOR MICKEY!! He really got into it this year! Toby and I had a blast watching him. He never wanted to stop when we finally made him come home.
Thanks again mom, for making our AWESOME COSTUMES! We love them!!!

Rainy day at the park!

Sunday Toby, had to work and Cash and were bored and tired of being inside, so I decided to take a break and take him and Cole to the park. Even though it was wet they boys has a really good time.
As soon as we got out of the truck they took off to the playground! I love watching them play, they have so much fun together.

Cash is finally s tarting to not be scared of everything! He actually started climbing on some things. There is still a lot that he freaks out about! I guess he takes after me.
These two play together so well. I hope that they contuine to play and grow up the best of buds!

Who says you can not have fun at on a rainy day at the park??

Pumpkins Are here!!

TWO NEW POSTS!! FINALLY! SEE BELOW!

I think... well I know that I love this time of year more than any other time. I love all the holidays back to back that I get to decorate and be festive about. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I think that this fall is going to be the best yet, since Cash is at the perfect age to be excited about everything. He had a blast buying pumpkins the other day when we went grocery shopping. A few days before we had gone shopping we had gotten all my Halloween decorations out but some of them needed a pumpkin to work.
Cash could hardly wait to get home to get to "play with the pumpkins" I have little wooden pieces that you insert into your pumpkin in order to create a ghost and a spider. Cash wanted to do everything on his own... he wants to do EVERYTHING on his own these days.
Once he had put all the pieces in the pumpkins, we took them outside and put them on the front porch. Anytime someone comes to our house, he has to show them. He also always looks out our window to make sure that they are still there and have not gone anywhere. He says the ghost may fly off.
I love getting to see him get excited about the holidays. Holidays were always a big deal at our house when I was growing up and I hope they contuine to be for him as he grows up. He loved gettting to go to the Halloween store numerous times while I looked for the perfect Halloween costume for me, which I never found. So when all else fails.. have my WONDERFUL mom, make mine for me!! So excited about it! Stay tuned for pictures coming later this month!

Cash Plays while we were gone

We live in Houston and its HOT! Really hot right now. A couple of weeks ago when Toby and I went to New Olreans Cash was at my parents house, and mom and dad took him to the mall for a day of entertainment. Cash loves going to the mall, but not to shop. He loves all the things that he gets to do at the mall. He gets to go to the indoor playground and run around. Its pretty cool and he always has a blast.

Another thing is the pet shop. He loves getting to go and look at all the pets in the pet store.
Of course a kid can not go to the mall with out going to the Great American Cookie company! The best high priced cookies around. I grew up on these things. They are great. Usually then he gets to go to the food court and eat at Sonic. He thinks its pretty neat that there are Sonic's inside the mall.
Last you have to take a ride with Grandma on the carasouel. He used to go and just look at it and never want to get on. But now he does and look how much fun he is having! So, now I need to tell Toby it is possible to go to the mall and NOT go shopping! (if you take Cash)!

I have lots of posts to catch up, we had another wedding this weekend!

Lacy's Wedding

This past weekend was my cousin Lacy's wedding. We drove up to Oklahoma on Thursday, and the wedding was on Friday. Cash got to wear a tux and looked so cute and grown up.

He looks like such a little man. He was really excited to get to wear a suit as he called it. He even bought new black shoes to wear with it.

Cash and my cousin's son Harry, are only 4 days apart and at the reception were assigned the task of walking around and handing out party favors to the guests. I told my cousin that I did not think that Cash would do it. But he DID!! and he loved it. He walked around the the tables and handed them out and even when he ran out he wanted more so we refilled his basket and off he went.

Little did I know that was just the beginning of him coming out of his shell. The musicwas going on the dance floor and off Cash went. He spent at least 2 hours dancing on the dance floor. He had a blast and was not shy at all. He did not want anyone dancing wiht him, he wanted to dance alone.

You should have seen it in person, I could not stop laughing, it was the funniest thing that I have seen.

After all the dancing was over we were headed back to the car to go back to our hotel and my dad fell walking to the car and broke his foot and ankle. He spent the rest of the night at the ER. The next morning was his brithday so since he could not get around much we celebrated in our hotel room. My aunt was having a cake for him later in the day. More on that later....
He will be having surgery on it on Thursday or Friday this week to fix and then will be in a cast for a few weeks! What a way to celebrate a wedding and a birthday!
