Red River New Mexico!

We went to Red River, New Mexico to the mountains for a week the beginning of July! It was nice to enjoy the cool weather and spend sometime with Toby's Parents and his brother. We rented a house there for the week and enjoyed riding 4 wheelers, hiking and just hanging out!
Cash made some friends at the gun fight show one afternoon!

There were mountains that we rode the 4wheelers up and there were all kinds of abandoned mines along the way that we were able to stop and look at.

It took two days and 20 hours to drive there. We drove the first day to Amarillo and got to eat at Big Texas. They had the worlds largest rocking chair that I have ever seen! They make Cash and Palin look small!

My favorite part of any 4wheeling is going through big water puddles! I love gettting covered in mud, its make the experience more fun I think.

Traveling with Kids we made lots of stops to let them play. Only is West Texas do you find a playground that tells you to watch for snakes while your kids are playing!

The house that we rented was awesome! It was huge and had plenty of room for everyone!

Look closely and you can see Palin!

This was taken about 530am the last morning that we were there to head home. Cash was less than amused to be up at that hour, you can tell my the look on his face. It was a great vacation!

5 Years and 9 Months

We took the kids to have thier pictures done the other day. Cash is turning 5 and Palin is 9 months old! Time is flying by. They are both growing so much, and so fast.

On a good note, I am changing positions next month, and will be on our nightshift! I will still be with McKesson, just in a new position. I am really excited and think that this will finally give me more time with the kids in the afternoon, and be able to be at things like Dr Appts, and Tball practice.

Cash started his last year in Pre-K yesterday, and his pal Will was supposed to start Kindergarten but his mom decided at the last minute to have him wait until next year, so Cash is excited to have him in his class again this year.

We finally go him to buy some boots! He never was interested but now he was! (Will wears them at school) So that probaley helped.

Palin... wow! What to say about her. She is a hoot. She is going to be the one that is into everything. Everytime that we turn around she is into something. She is now going after Cash and his toys all the time. He is learning that it may not be so cool now that she is mobile and can move where she wants to go!

We are having a blast and living each day. Seems like we are nonstop everyday with something! Just when I look foward to a weekend something gets planned, so looks like for us, that we will have some free weekends in November sometime! ha! Oh but wait, thats when Palin turns ONE!!
