Weekend...

Saturday Toby had to work, so Cash and I got to spend the day together. By about 2p, he was grumpy and I think bored with me. So I called to see if Cole could come over and play with him for a few hours with hope that they would have fun. They did! We did everything with them. They colored, played with playdoh, and rode and built things outside.
Cash loves to drive his tractor and trailer and loves to pull other things in his trailer. He put the tricyle in the trailer and then told Cole to get on. BOYS!!! I promise this was safe and supervised!
The played catch with a balloon, but this game only lasted for a few minutes, because as soon as one of them missed the balloon it hit the ground and poped. They both just stood there and looked at the remains on the floor. It was pretty funny.
On Sunday my company walked in the March of Dimes walk. This was my 5th year to get to walk in it. Cash got to ride along in his stroller. He was excited to get to see Cole again this morning. I am blessed to work with such great people that we get along at work and outside of work! Makes life and work a lot more fun!
Cash is checking out baby Hunter once he arrived at the walk. We made all the kids McKesson shirts to wear so taht they all matched the adults.

Here Cash and Cole are watching the band play music before the walk started. The music was really loud and Cash did not know what to think with all the people.

Cash was exhausted by the time the walk was over! He passed out on the way home in his carseat. I had to wake him up when we got home. It was a fun weekend. We spent most of the afternoon yesterday mowing the yard and being outside.

30 Months!!

We took Cash and Hunter to have thier pictures taken on Friday, and they turned out really cute. This is the only one that we had taken together. We know that they are going to be best buds when they grow up.

Cash looks so much like Toby, and these are some of my favorites pics of him!!!

Easter Weekend Cont....

Cash, Toby and I colored eggs, for the first time since he was born on Friday night. We had fun and I think that Cash enjoyed it. I grew up always coloring eggs. This was Toby's first time to color them.

Here is Cash dying them. He did pretty good and did not even make a big mess! I was impressed.
Easter morning Cash woke up to all kinds of goodies that the Easter Bunny had brought him. We spent most of the day playing with all his new stuff. Toby's parents and his brother came into town on Saturday to spend Easter with us. Once Cash got dressed we headed outside to find all the Easter eggs that the bunny had hid.

By this point it had started raining, and Cash hates to be dirty or get wet. He refused to come off of the porch and get his eggs. So we kept hiding and rehiding eggs on the porch and in the flowers. Finally Jonathan had the idea to get an umbrella and see if that would work.
At first it did for about 60 seconds and then Cash realized that he did not like it, there was still water that would get on him. So we gave up and left lots of eggs outside while we went in and cleaned up to go to Church Sunday morning.
When we got back from church it had quit raining, but Cash was not interested in hunting eggs anymore. However there were still eggs everywhere outside. So Uncle Jonathan decided to be a kid again and go hunting for the eggs.
I think that he may have had more fun that Cash finding the eggs! It at least made for some funny moments! We ate lucn around 230pm, and Tobys aunt and uncle came and joined us also. It was good to see them, and his uncle was home from Iraq for a short visit so we got to spend some time with him. My mother in law made her annual Easter bunny cake that we got to eat for dessert.
One would think that our weekend would calm down after Toby's parents left, but it kept going. We were invited to our friends house so that Cash could hunt eggs with their kids. He did however enjoy that this time, since there were other kids looking for eggs, and he wanted to be like them.
We finally got home around 730pm, gave Cash a bath and then it was off to bed we went!!

Easter with Pawpaw and Grandma!

This morning we woke up at 530am and headed to my parents to spend a little bit of time with them before Toby had to be at work. On the hour drive to my parents, I kept telling Cash that they Easter bunny had come to grandma's house and when he got there he was going to get to hunt easter eggs. He was excited. I also told him to hunt eggs you have to wear the easter bunny ears!
It worked and he wore them, but he still left his aggie hat on, but it worked!
As soon as Cash got there he went out side to the front yard and started finding the eggs. They eggs were all filled with candy and little toy cars for him to play with. I will say 715am, to be finding eggs, has to be the earliest that I have ever been up to find eggs.

After the Easter egg hunt, mom and dad made us a great yummy breakfast! We enjoyed getting to have a nice breakfast since we usually just eat a bowl of cereal on the run.
Next Cash got to find his basket that the bunny left. He was filled with all kinds of goodies! It had Mickey Mouse movies and books, and lots of fun markers for the bath tub! Should make bath time fun!
Toby and I even got to go hunting Easter eggs that my parents had hid for us. Cash helped Toby and just went to hunting them on mine own... I ended up finding me more, which was great because they each had $5 dollar bills in them! So I am now $40 richer and poor Toby is only $5 richer! Thanks mom and dad for a great Easter morning. (The day early) More to come on Easter morning tomorrow when the bunny comes to our house.

Dinner with OOLIE!

Last night Toby, had to work late so Cash and I decided that we were going to meet "Julie" my best friend from when I was in elementry school, middle school, high school, college, my maid of honor... you get the picture. Cash calls her OOLIE because he can not pronouce his J's. We met at Los Cucos and had dinner. It was great to see her, as I get to talk to her every morning on the way to school, but do not get to see her as often as I would like. Cash was very good at dinner, but we shortly exceeded his sitting time and were ready to move on, so it was home we went, as he told her bye, he said, bye bye OOLIE!!

More Daylight!

FINALLY!! There is more daylight! I hated the fall, by the time that I got home from work there was no time for Cash to play outside. Wednesday when I got home Toby had already picked Cash up and they were at home riding the 4 wheeler. We love the fact that we do not live in a neighborhood and that there is lots of room for Cash to ride and play outside in. He loves having 4 acres to run and play on.

Lately, he has started to really love his 4 wheeler that he got for Christmas. He has NO fear on it and I have LOTS of fear while he is on it. He rides it anywhere. Just today when he was riding it, he rode it off into a hole, Toby and I watched and ran towards him as we knew he would be falling off. He almost went over the handlebars and when he landed, somehow he landed back on his seat, he just started laughing. He thought it was funny!! BOYS!! BOYS!!
Cash is so much like Toby, it amazes me more everyday. The things that he does and how he acts are just like his daddy.
The 4 wheeler got stuck, and he got off and was trying to push it to get it up the hill and make it go. He pushed and pushed!! ( Finally daddy had to come and help him). The 4 wheeler finally needed to be charged about 7pm, when the Funkhousers arrived.
Here is Hunter, I was so excited that he got to come to our house. He is now a little over a month old. He is grown so much!! Today was also the first day that Cash decided to be interested in him. Cash gave him lots of kisses and was all about Hunter tonight.
Cash likes holding peoples hands and he thought that Hunters was extra special since his hands were so small. I still think of Cash as a baby, but when you look at him next to Hunter, there is no baby, Cash is a grown little kid! Makes me sad! I can not believe he is going to be 3 this summer!! Time flies!
