Puzzles

Cash stumbled across some of his puzzles in the garage in a box that we had not unpacked. The two of them worked on them really well before church last night. It is so nice to be in the new house, where Cash actually has room to play on his floor in his room. Looking foward to have the garage remodel done so we have another living area.

As soon as we got home they wanted to finish putting them together before they went to bed. They already made plans to do them again tonight when we get home.

Happy 35th Toby

Wednesday was Toby's 35th birthday! Somehow we got old! Not sure how it happened. Toby has been sick all week but thankfully he was feeling better on his birthday. The kids and I ran home after work and decorated a little bit before he got home.

We had dinner at the house and then headed to church. After church, Tobys parents and his Uncle Don that were in town came over to open presents and have cake. Tobys mom made his cake and it was a cake with his name. It had pictures on it of our family and things about Toby.

Once we finished and everyone left, Cash still had homework to do, so Palin set on the couch and listened to him read his book out loud that he had to read for school.

Cash is all about CASH... Literally!

Cash is money driven! Maybe its his name.. but the kid is driven by money.... he will do anything you ask him to for a quarter, a dollar, whatever you want to give him. He is always counting his money on what he has. He hardly ever wants to spend it. He likes to keep it. I gave him  his allowance on Monday and I found him on his floor counting his money.

Valentine's Weekend

Friday night when I picked the kids up, they both had cakes that they made at school. Palin of course made pink strawberry and Cash made a chocoloate cake. Toby was horribly sick on Friday so I took the kids to dinner by myself so Toby could rest. When they got home they were anxious to go through their Valentine Sacks from their parties at school.

Sunday they went outside and played for a bit. Cash said that they were digging for treasures. They had fun getting to have a yard again. Living in town was not working for them. They are glad to be able to run and do things without being in the street.

Valentine's Day

We celebrated Valentine's Day with the kids when they woke up this morning. They each got a balloon, and a few little goodies.

Toby got them giant Valentine's Day cards. Cash's of course was Duck Dynasty and Palin's was a love bug! They thought that they were great.

Toby woke up to a cookie bouqet that was delivered to him at work on Thursday but he did not open it till Friday morning.
and I recieved a dozen colored roses that smell awesome! Some of them even have little diamonds in the roses. They are so pretty!

It's Been a little Crazy....

It has been a little nuts around our house or houses. We have been in the process of moving, and trying to get settled. Pictures to come once we are settled a little more. In the mean time, Palin thinks its funny to wear Toby's boots around the house.

Cash and his class celebrated the 100th day of school and the next day was an ICE/Snow day he did not have school. They got 100 day of school glasses that he likes to sport around in... So just wanted to post some pictures of our craziness lately...

Superbowl Sunday

Toby and drove back from Ft Worth and met my parents at the new house to put together some shelves. We did that till lunch time and took a few loads for toys to the new house, and then ran and got boxes so we could pack this week. We had been talking about the superbowl all afternoon, Palin just kept saying I want to watch. She started out with the boys on the floor but quickly lost interest and moved on to her computer while they watched the game. I dont think that she knew what it was till it came on and she realized it was a football game!
Cash and me grabbed a small football cake they had and Palin was excited to have it. She was more into cake than anything else last night. Both kids were asleep by 745pm on their own, and I had to pull them out of bed at 7am this morning. Papa and Grandma kept them up till after 10pm Saturday, I think that they were exhausted!!
