Great Wolf Lodge

Thursday after school I picked the kids up and my nephew Colt and we headed to Weatherford to pick Toby up from work. We grabed a bite to eat and headed to Great Wolf Lodge. We planned this as a end of summer trip while Colt was in town so that he could go with us. Great Wolf lodge is a one stop resort. Its your hotel, waterpark, and all kinds of activities for the kids.
The kids did a variety of things there. The thing that they were most excited about was getting to make a build a bear. They each chose a different animal to have stuffed and got to pick out clothes for them. There was even an Ice Cream and cupcake place inside the resort that we took the kids too one night.
They had an arcade that the kids played at. The little kids played on the rides and Cash and Toby played on the racing games and jammed out to guitar hero.

The entire resort is decorated and had an interactive wand game that the kids loved. You have to purchase a wand but there are things all over the hotel that the kids can point their wands at and it become interactive for them. Yes they are in their PJ's doing this but we had already gone swimming and back to the room to clean up for the night. They were not the only kids in their PJ's.

Colt and Palin are 10 months apart, but could pass as twins. Everyone got along really well, and they all seemed to have a good time.

We were up early on Friday morning and headed to the waterpark of the resort after breakfast. There was a variety of slides and water things for all ages. Toby stayed with the little ones so that Cash and I could ride some of the bigger tube rides. These slides were the fastest waterslides that I have ever been on. They scared me to death and Cash came off of them laughing because he had such a good time.

Palin started getting daring on the slides and going down and turning around so she could hit the water on her stomach. This girl does not know what FEAR is. She is fearless. It was a great trip and the kids had a blast! We will be going back...... It wore the kids out. They all three slept the whole 2 hour drive back to Stephenville.
