March of Dimes
Today was the March of Dimes walked that I have taken part in the last 4 years. McKesson was a sponsor this year. There were about 50 people that I work with that showed up to walk the 3 miles this morning. Cash and me woke up early and headed to The Woodlands to be at the Walk.
We did not get too far out of Conroe before we met my best friend Julie. We picked her up at target and then headed to the Lone Star college where the walk was held. Cash was not wanting to take pictures today as you can see from the picture below. The March of Dimes is an organization that helps raise money for premature babies. Cash seemed to have a good time during the walk, I pushed him in his stoller during the walk.
The weather was perfect. No rain and no sun which meant no heat. It was really a perfect morning for the walk and we had a really good time. Toby did not go to the walk with us, so Cash and I wondered what he did while we were gone this morning, when we got home Toby, had put together 2 of Cash's toys, one was a worm, see below and his little red fire truck car. I call it a Flintstone car. It reminds me of something that Fred and Wilma Flintstone would drive. Ha!
Cash has a play date!

Forever Friends
This weekend was great, I never even hardly left the house but had a lot of fun. I was able to spend time with two of my best friends... Julie came over Saturday to see Cash and play with him. Julie also was looking at my camera that I had bought Toby for his birthday and decided to take a picture of herself and not tell me. I found this picture that she took of herself on my camera tonight when I was going through the pictures on it. So I decided that she would want me to share it with all of you blog readers since she took the picture! So here is my best friend since 4th grade, isn't she crazy? Ha! Just kidding Jules, I love you!
I also got to see my great friend Andrew. I got to meet his soon to be wife. They came to the house on Sunday to hang out for a few hours! It was a blast, I had not seen him in 2 years!!
No more baby bed!

Swimsuit Debut
Today was a great day, it was sunny and warm and I thought that it would be a perfect day for Cash to make his swimsuit debut. I got his cool elmo sprinkler out that we got him for Easter and put his new swimming suit and shoes on him and took him outside.
Here is the backview of his swimsuit debut! Isn't he cute?? Girls... hands off! He is a mama's boy and I am not giving him up to anyone! Well, maybe the Funkhousers, if they have a girl. He has first choice of getting to date thier daughter. Ha!

De-ja-Vu
De-Ja-Vu... that's what today's Dr appt felt like. For those who know, this time last year almost to the day Cash was in the hospital and was having really bad problems breathing... which started a string of Doctor's visit and specialist visits and breathing treatments every 2-4 hours that = no sleep for me.
Well today at the doctor we found out that we had 2 ear infections again, and he was weezing really bad.. so the treatment... back the the breathing treatments. However this time is a little different now that Cash is 18 months and not 6 months he can hold the machine all alone. He did great tonight. When we got home we got out his machine, and he knew excatly what to do. We made it almost the whole 10 minutes on his own before he got bored with it. I took a picture because he was doing so great with it. Maybe he knows that it helps him breather better. So last year this time I thought this might be something that he would grow out of.. but it looks like it is going to be a seasonal thing with him. Good thing he is being a good sport about it! The kid just amazes me everyday!
