Cash starts Pre-K

Cash moved up at school and is now considered in the Pre-K program at school. This is on the first morning of his new class room. He was so excited. He got a new backpack, and mom made him a baseball cover for his mat at school to sleep on. She also made him a new airplane blanket and matching pillowcase. He is having a blast!!!

Baby Shower

In August 4 of my closest friends hosted a baby shower for Palin and I! It was awesome. It was all in black and white zebra and pink decorations! It was blast, and I got so many cute girly things. All the details that they put into it were incredible. They had everything that you could imagine.
Here is a picture of a blanket that my mom made for Palin. It is so much fun!

Her cake was from the cake shop and it was soooo yummy!!

Here is me and all my hosteses, Julie, Erin, Suzy and Dana. The girls put so much thought into it!!! They are the greatest! I can not wait for Palin to meet them!! Just a few short weeks! I have more pics from the shower to post later. Just did not have the camera right now.

Cash Turns 4 !!

Yesterday was Cash's 4th Birthday! I was off for the day, and we started the day by having his pictures taken and doing some maternity ones of him and me together. After that Toby met up with us and we went to pick his friend Cole up and take them to lunch and to incredible Pizza to play. They had a blast! Afterwards we came back to our house and they had won swords at Incredible Pizza and played with them all afternoon, pretending Toby was a monster and having him chase them. They were ALL OVER THE HOUSE!!!

After Cole left we headed to Dinner at Los Cucos and got a chance to see Erin and Hunter. Erin gave Cash his birthday present but he did not want to open it till he got home that night! Leave it to my kid to wait!

When we got home my parents were there and opened presents with us. Cash is really into Toy Story 3 and got a new Woody towel, that looks like a Halloween costume.

I think that his favorite toy was Buzz LIghtyear! I think that my favorite part is listening to him say his name. Its hilarious!

Finally, after presents we got to have cake! Cash specifically asked for a cake with Happy faces all over it! Thats what he wanted so thats what he got!

I think that he had a great day! Now countdown till his party on Saturday and we get to celebrate all over again!!

First Trip to the Beach

With summer coming to an end, we wanted to do something with Cash before Palin arrived, so we decided to head to Galveston. We went down Friday night and spent the night at the Hotel Galvez. It was a really nice hotel.
We got down there in time to eat dinner before it got dark at Joe's Crab Shack on the seawall. We sat outside so we could watch the waves come in, and they had a huge sand playground that Cash got to play on while we waited for our food.

After dinner we headed to Wal-mart, because Toby asked I had brought any sand toys for him to play with tomorrow at the beach. I totally forgot. We we went to find a bucket and a shovel, thats is all that Toby thought that he needed. Well Cash and I had different thoughts on that. We thought we needed lots of beach toys.

Here is Cash in line checking out at Wal-Mart with all his beach toys to take the next day. He woke up in the hotel at 630am, looking out the window yelling at me and Toby, saying" Its light outside"! Its time to go to the beach!!

We had a lot of fun and it was good little trip for us to take!!

baseball game!

Tuesday night we took Cash to his first Astros game a Minute Maid Park. He is really into base ball and we thought that he would have a blast. He was very excited the whole way there, till we got into our seats.
This was his first time to be in stadium seating and I think it scared him a bit. We watched two innings and he kept saying he was tired and wanted to go home. We went and got something to eat and walk around and then we wanted to go back and watch the game. Once we got back he really got into it, and we stayed till the end of the game!

We had pretty good seats right behind home base so we could see everything!

When we were leaving we saw an ASTROS Mickey, so we had to take our picture by him! Here is me, Cash and Palin (7 1/2 months pregnant!). We got home a little after 11pm and he was out! He slept like a rock and never woke up!!

I have lots more to post over the last couple of months.... Like my BABY Shower!! Will try to catch up this week!!! Stay tuned for pics from the shower and Palin's room!

This and that

This post is a little of this and that over the last couple of weeks.
This is Cash holding his 1st trophy from Soccer that he got at his last game on June 4th. He had fun playing soccer but I do not think that it is going to be his sport! Basketball is next in July so we will see how that goes!

This is Cash's cool new swingset that he got Memorial Day weekend! He loves it! We just need to get a swing for it because it does not have one on it! The slide makes him go down super fast and he thinks it is awesome!!

My Aunt Debbie sent my parents home with this "Peed Boat" as Cash calls it. Toby pushes him on it and he would go up on it. We spent hours at my parents one Sunday pushing him back and forth across the pool on it! Thanks Debbie! He loves it!

This past weekend we went back to Dublin and got to spend some time with Tobys brother and his wife and my nephew Colt. Here is a picture of Colt and Cash! I think that Cash is going to be great big brother when his little sister PALIN RAYNE gets here in October!
