Lincoln Logs

Cash has been recieving all kinds of presents this past week in the mail, my grandma/Cash's great grandma sent him some Lincoln logs in the mail for Christmas. He loved them. He made Toby open them right away and start building with them. He even made me take them with us to daycare the next day! It was nuts! But I would not let him take them inside the next morning at daycare and he was grumpy, with me!!! He cried and cried when I left him. Cash has loved getting to open presents this year! He likes to tear the paper open! I can not wait till Christmas morning. We had Christmas with my parents last night, and will post those pictures in the next day or so.

Cash and Santa

We have tried 3 times this year to take Cash to see Santa and get his picture with him, and it has not worked out. He does not like Santa in person. He likes him, on TV and in the stuffed animal form but not the live thing!! Here is was in our yard with his hammer hitting Santa! Let me tell you he is ALL BOY!!!
Once he was done hitting Santa, I made him hug him and kiss Santa and tell him that he was sorry. As you can see it worked and he gave Santa a big kiss!!
Here Cash is with Santa, after they made up! They look like the best of Friends! If I could just get him to be that friendly with the real one at the Mall when we went. I guess I will take what I can get!!! Maybe next year we will have better luck!!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's 49th Birthday! I am sure that she loves me telling the world that next year she will be 50!!! Ha! I stayed up late Saturday night to make her cake for her! If you know my mom you know she loves martini's and the glasses that go with them. She collects them, so Toby came up with the idea that we should make her cake a martini glass! It turned out pretty cute. We went over there last night and celebrated her birthday, since today I had to work and so did she!

Merry Christmas

Hope that everyone is enjoying the holiday season! The Henson's have been busy, since Thanksgiving we have had something every weekend, Christmas parties, and holiday shopping. I can not believe that Christmas is just 3 days away!!! We are having Christmas at our house this year, so I still have a ton of cooking and preparing to do! Hope that everyone else is getting ready for the holidays this year!!!

Nothing

I know that I have not updated his blog since Thanksgiving, we have been busy and I guess I have been a picture slacker lately. But we are just gettting ready for the holidays this year. Last weekend we had my company Christmas party and tonight I have a managers outing at work. We are all going to to go bowling. Cash is enjoying this as he is getting to spend lots of time at my parents playing on the weekends while Toby and I attend all of our holiday functions. I loved this picture taken a couple of weeks ago. I promise to post more later... soon.. whatever...

Thanksgiving weekend

Our Thanksgiving weekend started early, we headed over to my parents on Wednesday night and they met us in Humble and took Cash home, Toby and I did some shopping and then headed to the movies to see 4 Christmas's. It was really funny, and this was the first time Toby and I had been to the movies in a long time. Thursday morning we woke up at my parents and watched the parade on TV while my mom cooked Thanksgiving dinner. We fried a turkey at our neighbors house, and the guys brought it home.

Here we are at the table eating thanksgiving dinner.
We spent the afternoon at my parents and they took Cash to the park to play, while Toby and I took a nap. Thursday night Dana, and I headed to the outlet mall to go shopping, they opened at 11pm and we went shopping until 300am! It was a blast, we got some really great deals.
Friday morning we headed to Toby parents and took the Landcruiser and 4 wheeler with us so that we could play out at the his parents place. Cash and Uncle Jonathan had a blast riding on the 4 wheeler.

Cash and I got to spend a lot of time driving in the Landcruiser all over the property. He never wanted to get out of it. The boys also set up deer feeder while we were there and went hunting.

You can tell how happy he was to be outside playing!
