We headed to Houston this past weekend and went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Toby and I took Cash while Palin stayed back with my parents and had her own day of fun going to Old McDonald's Farm. We got to the livestock show at lunch time and ate lunch.
Cash opted for a footlong corn dog and I wanted a sauasge on a stick. After lunch we headed into the exhibit hall. Once we got in within the first 5 minutes we ran into Toby's uncle and cousin without even knowing that they were going to be there. We spent the time 3 hours walking around looking at everything.
One of Cash's highlights was getting to make his own rope. He got to pick out the colors and actually turn and make the rope. He was pretty excited. Once we were done with that about an hour later he decided that Palin needed one and we went back so he could make her one.
Saturday was one of the day of the finals for the rodeo so we enjoyed getting to watch the rodeo. Once it was over we headed home and ate dinner a Chuy's in humble and then headed back to my parents. It was a long day but we had lots of fun.
