Field Trip

I got the chance a couple of weeks ago to with Cash to Ft Worth for his field trip. We had a really great time at the Ft Worth Science Musuem.

They got to build things, and play on a huge lite bright.

We didnt get to do everything and we are going to take the kids back this summer so we can do everything. It was a lot of fun!

Cash starts Ball

Both kids are now in full swing of playing ball, so our schedule is now if full swing of balancing practices and games every night. Cash is on the tigets this year and is playing first base! This is his favorite position to play.

One of the moms made signs for the boys to have the dugout with their names and numbers on them, so they know what batting order to sit in.

Palin is less than amused that she is having to attend Cash's games, she lasts for about 10 minutes and then is bored with the game.

Cash has done really well this year hitting. He is hitting them almost every time to the fence in the outfield.

School Pictures

Both kids school pictures actually turned our decent this year! They both are looking so grown up.

Palin starts Tball

Palin started Tball last night. She was so excited and wasted no time getting out of the truck and to practice. She was so ready. Our friend Tony is coaching her team this year and we are playing with 5 other people that I work with, so we know a lot of people on the team.

She was very intense when she was hitting the ball and practicing. She did everything that she was told to and never whimpered once! We may end up two ball players in our family, she totally likes this more than soccer.

 

Easter Weekend

Saturday evening we cooked out and colored Easter eggs. This year we even got a kit that was to paint them. Palin had fun painting them.

One of the kits had hair and eyes that you could add to them. Palin thought that was pretty neat.

Cash loves playing games when he goes to Papa and Grandmas. Dad and Cash played Wahoo and Tic Tac Toe.

The kids slept till about 730am on Sunday morning and then were up and ready to find thier eggs from the bunny.

The bunny knows how everything has to be fair with the kids, so he left them a letter so they new what they were looking for and how many. He hid 27 inside that they colored and then his the other ones outside for them with their goodies in them.

Good Friday

We got to Houston on Friday afternoon after lunch. The kids were anxious and wanted to go outside and play so we headed to the park. It was HOT! We melted and melted.

 The kids didnt seem to mind as they ran and played a bunch!

 Cash loves playing basketball, he takes his basketball to school everyday to play at recess. He had Dad and Papa playing with him till everyone started melting.

Sunday Egg Hunt

Sunday morning Palin and I were up early and headed back to Stephenville from Jill's house. We got home and Toby and Cash were at church. We headed to the musuem to hide the Easter Eggs for the Church Easter Egg hunt that I was in charge of. We met the boys after church and went and got lunch to take to the hunt.

We tried getting some of the girls together to take a picture. It didn't really work that well.

The older boys were ready to go hunt eggs. Since they were the oldest they had to wait till the end for them to go.

Palin and Chloe have gotten to be sweet little friends. They go to tumbling together and Chloe's dad is going to be Palin's Tball coach this year and I work with her mom too.

The kids got plenty of eggs and were ready to get home and go through them.

After we got home, we hung out for a little bit, but Palin was anxious since it was such a sunny day to go to the park. We went to the park and spent most of the time swinging. She can swing in the big people swings she just has to go slow, so she still likes getting to get in the little kids swings so you can push her fast!

While we were at the park the boys went to the other local park to play disc golf for the afternoon. After that it was home for supper and to bible hour at church that night. After Bible hour we headed to get yogurt and then home for bed. We were all tired!
