First Trip to the Beach

With summer coming to an end, we wanted to do something with Cash before Palin arrived, so we decided to head to Galveston. We went down Friday night and spent the night at the Hotel Galvez. It was a really nice hotel.
We got down there in time to eat dinner before it got dark at Joe's Crab Shack on the seawall. We sat outside so we could watch the waves come in, and they had a huge sand playground that Cash got to play on while we waited for our food.
After dinner we headed to Wal-mart, because Toby asked I had brought any sand toys for him to play with tomorrow at the beach. I totally forgot. We we went to find a bucket and a shovel, thats is all that Toby thought that he needed. Well Cash and I had different thoughts on that. We thought we needed lots of beach toys.

Here is Cash in line checking out at Wal-Mart with all his beach toys to take the next day. He woke up in the hotel at 630am, looking out the window yelling at me and Toby, saying" Its light outside"! Its time to go to the beach!!
We had a lot of fun and it was good little trip for us to take!!

baseball game!

Tuesday night we took Cash to his first Astros game a Minute Maid Park. He is really into base ball and we thought that he would have a blast. He was very excited the whole way there, till we got into our seats.
This was his first time to be in stadium seating and I think it scared him a bit. We watched two innings and he kept saying he was tired and wanted to go home. We went and got something to eat and walk around and then we wanted to go back and watch the game. Once we got back he really got into it, and we stayed till the end of the game!
We had pretty good seats right behind home base so we could see everything!

When we were leaving we saw an ASTROS Mickey, so we had to take our picture by him! Here is me, Cash and Palin (7 1/2 months pregnant!). We got home a little after 11pm and he was out! He slept like a rock and never woke up!!
I have lots more to post over the last couple of months.... Like my BABY Shower!! Will try to catch up this week!!! Stay tuned for pics from the shower and Palin's room!

This and that

This post is a little of this and that over the last couple of weeks.
This is Cash holding his 1st trophy from Soccer that he got at his last game on June 4th. He had fun playing soccer but I do not think that it is going to be his sport! Basketball is next in July so we will see how that goes!

This is Cash's cool new swingset that he got Memorial Day weekend! He loves it! We just need to get a swing for it because it does not have one on it! The slide makes him go down super fast and he thinks it is awesome!!

My Aunt Debbie sent my parents home with this "Peed Boat" as Cash calls it. Toby pushes him on it and he would go up on it. We spent hours at my parents one Sunday pushing him back and forth across the pool on it! Thanks Debbie! He loves it!
This past weekend we went back to Dublin and got to spend some time with Tobys brother and his wife and my nephew Colt. Here is a picture of Colt and Cash! I think that Cash is going to be great big brother when his little sister PALIN RAYNE gets here in October!

Trip To Dublin .

We headed to Dublin on Tuesday because Toby had a couple days off. We had no agenda and enjoyed just hanging out. Toby and Cash filled the deer feeders and rode 4 wheelers.
On Thursday morning, Toby, his dad and Cash got up early and went fishing for the morning. They had a blast and Cash was so excited about getting to catch fish. He told his teacher about it first thing this morning.
Dublin is home to the Dr. Pepper factory and we go to go by and get our picture with big Dr. Pepper can!

Every year for a week in June they actually change the city limit signs to read: Dr Pepper, Texas and have a celebration for Dr. Pepper days! We had a great trip!

Sea World

This Friday night after work we headed to San Antonio, we drove in horrible rainstorms the whole way there. Toby, Cash and I headed over around 7pm that night. We had to drive like 40mph due to all the rain. about 3 hours into the trip Cash decided that he was sick and started throwing up. We have decided that he may get Car sick, because this has happened before. My parents had taken vacation on Friday and were already there and had spent the day on the River Walk and gone to dinner there. We met them at the hotel around 11pm when we finally got there. We stayed at this really cool resort: Hilton Hill Country Resort and Spa. More on that later. Once we got into our room we crashed before the next day.

We woke up early as we had to be at Sea World by 9:00am. We had booked a breakfast with Elmo and his friends. Cash had a blast getting to see all the characters.

The breakfast was about an hour an the characters came around to see you at your table and you were able to get pictures taken with them.

Cash looks like such a big boy in these pictures. He talked the whole weekend and had a blast!! I can not believe that he is going to be 4!!!

Cash and Daddy out front Sea World waiting for Papa and Grandma to get back from the Car so that we could go inside, I decided to take their picture with Shamu!

After the Elmo breakfast we went to the dolphins and Cash got to feed them fish! (expensive Fish at that) it was $12 for the little container that you see in the picture to get them with Fish to feed the dolphins. I know how Sea World make thier money! It was worth it though, we got to pet them, and they made really cool noises.

Mom, Dad and Cash in the log ride. We did not get to ride but Cash had fun getting to climb in adn out of this one.

We spent a lot of time looking at the map trying to figure out what show to go to, and what time to get there so we did not miss anything.

There was a water playgournd in the middle of the park, luckily I brought Cash's swimsuit because he wanted to play in it. So we changed his clothes and let him run around in it. He had a blast as you can tell in the pictures!

While Cash was playing in the waterpark my parents went to ride a water roller coaster, and they got wet. Mom got wetter than dad as you can tell in this picture.

Cash got to enjoy Sea World in his rented stroller. He got pushed around and got to enjoy his self. Too bad they did not make adult strollers for us!! Notice the big Shamu in the back of the stroller. Cash had been saying that he wanted a Shamu, so my dad took him to a gift shop to get one and there was a table of them, and dad told him to pick out one, and the next thing dad said was he turned around and Cash was standing there with this huge Shamu that was as tall as him. The table that dad thought he was getting on off of had small ones about 10inch one. But dad could not tell him no, so Cash got the Shamu and has slept with it the last 2 nights and keeps saying, I love Shamu!!

This was our group picture before leaving the park to head back to our hotel. We were pooped. As soon as we got in the car Cash started talking about going swimming at the hotel. So as soon as we got back we headed to the pools at the hotel.

They had awesome pools! They had 3 pools at the hotel. They had a kid pool that was big and only 1.5 feet deep so Cash got to run and play, they had water falls coming down them as you can see he had a blast swimming in them. After we swam till about 7pm we cleaned up and went to dinner.

After dinner we went back to the hotel, and the hotel had a huge patio that probaley set 150 people and numerous fire pits and seating around them that you could roast marshmallows on and they had a cartoon movie showing that people could sit around and eat, drink, and roast marshmallows and relax for the evening. It was the neatest resort ever!!!! We had a blast and it was great to get away and spend sometime together!!!!

Trip to the Bay! Kemah

Toby has been working I think for the last 19 days straight and it will be 23 by the time he gets a day off, so Cash and I have had lots of time on our hands. We went over a couple of Sundays ago, to my parents because they have been going to Kemah a couple of times over the last month to eat lunch on the weekends on the bay and watch the big ships come in. They have all kinds of rides for the kids now and all kinds of things to do.
This is Cash on a airplane ride. He had a blast getting to watch all the ships and boats come in and eat lunch outside on the water.
He got to ride in a hot air balloon ride that went up in the air! He jumped on all the rides and had no fear!!
There was even a mini fishing pond that you paid to get catch a fish. He got to use a fishing pole and catch a fish!
His first fish!! He did not want to touch it!

We kept asking him if he wanted to ride the rides again and he just kept talking about a shark balloon, we were not sure what he was talking about till we walked by this GUESS YOUR AGE OR WEIGHT game. He pointed to the prizes that they had which was a blow up shark that he thought was a balloon and he wanted it. We let the lady try and guess his weight, she was wrong so Cash one the Shark Blow up toy that has now become a pool toy for the summer. Here he is standing on the scales, he weighed 48 pounds!!
After that we finally called it a day and headed home!!
