Football Season

Tonight starts the Fall football season and Cash is ready. He is so excited that the Aggies kick off tonight. He wanted to make sure that since it was game day that everyone was wearing their Aggie gear this morning. I snapped a picture of them before we left this morning. Palin said I want a one on one. Meaning she wanted a picture alone. LOL! Cash opted not to have a one on one!

First Practice

Last night after school was Palin's first real practice. She did really well and played really hard. It was really hot and she ran and ran and ran. She was so red when practice was over.

She got lots of drinks and at the end of practice got her uniform for her games! She was so excited and insisted on wearing her Jersery to Cash's football practice. Cash started football practice yesterday too. Its going to be a busy fall.

First Day of School

Well today was the first day of school and they were up and in really great moods!  Cash jumped out of bed, and headed to the kitchen to make his lunch himself. He packed it and his snack that he is allowed to take to school to have in the morning.

Palin was a little sleepy as she spent over an hour in her bed talking trying to fall asleep, she eventually woke up and we got her dressed. She has pants to go with her outfit but its supposed over 100 today, and it was long enough to just wear as a dress and she was excited about that! N

Cash kept telling me that I could only take one picture!! Well I got a few more, but he was not happy about it.

Palin was excited she moved into a new building at school and a new classroom. When we got there they already had her cubbie labeled with her name, and her hook labeled with her name to hang her backpack. Notice her new leopard backpack, she felt pretty special carrying it today.

Mr. Second grader thinks he is too cool now. But at least got him to pose for pictures. He was hurrying us out the door as to not be late today. We were 35 minutes early :) once we arrived at school with him.

We walked Cash down to his room and his Teacher Ms.Nix was in there getting ready for the day. Since we were so early no one else was in the room yet. She said that he could help her get ready. He put his backpack down and off he went. She had to tell him to tell us bye!

They were both excited about their new teachers, so here is hoping for a great first day!!

And so Soccer Begins....

 Last night Palin begin the first time of playing a sport. We started Soccer. She loved it to.... Thankgoodness. She did a really good job of listening and being involved.  I hope that she enjoys it!!!

 

Houston Day 1 and 2

Cash headed to Houston to my parents on Saturday to spend a few days. So far they have not stopped in the just two days they have done so much. They bought a solar system to paint and put together.  

 

They made hot pads, which took watching a couple of you tube videos to figure it out.

They swam in the new pool, and swam some more.

They went to the movies to see the Ninja Turtle movie and got to meet a ninja turtle while they were there. .... Meanwhile back in Stephenville this is what I have been dealing with :) Bat girl. She insisted on dressing up on Sunday and wearing it all day. She went to Jon and Lois's on Sunday and wore her costume, and convinced Lois to wear her batman shirt too!

Both kids have been having a blast.

Kiddos

 I found both these pictures of the kiddos back from a weekend in May. We played golf in the backyard and went and flew kites. I think that it was Mother's Day weekend. Thought that they were both good pictures that needed to be on here.

Splashville and Jill

Friday I took a half day vacation and my friend Jill drove down from Dallas, we took the kids to Splashville for the afternoon. It was a cool day, who would have thought that in August, it would be in the 80's. It made the water a little chilly, but the kids still loved playing and didnt seem to mind too much. They had fun playing and running around. Palin and Andrew (JIll's son) played really good together. Palin wanted to help do everything with Andrew. Buckle his seatbelt, unbuckle it when we got some where, hold his hand all the time. She has became very motherly and wants to be in charge of little people. 

They snacked on the treats that Jill snuck in, as you are not supposed to take snacks or drinks inside. Palin loves wearing her sunglasses and hardly takes them off anymore. Cash played alot on the slides, and the ropes, but he did spend a good amount of time even playing in the kids area and taking them down the kids slide. After we left there we headed to dinner at Grumps and then Jill and Andrew started home. We had a great afternoon.
