We had a relaxing weekend at home. Toby woke up Saturday morning for some crazy reason around 530am, and decided to make a donut reciepe that he found online. He was up and cooking when I got out of bed around 630am and the kids were up shortly after that. They turned out really tummy. They tasted more like a coffee cake with icing, but we all still thought that they were yummy and I think that they would be great at the holidays with red and green icing on them.
We left the house around 730am and headed to Fort Worth to do some shopping. Cash needed a new bat for baseball lessons, he had out grown his and they said it was too short. Cash wanted to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings, he really likes it and we had not been to one since we moved. When got home around 2pm and tried to get the kids to rest and watch a movie with not much luck. We had dinner plans with some friends Lance and Shelley and thier little boy Luke. They came to the house and the kids got to play for a while before they headed home around 930pm.
After church on Sunday we headed out to the Farm for the afternoon, Toby needed to work on his trailer and the wiring on it and the kids wanted to play in the sprinkler. It was hot so playing in the water sounded like the best option for the afternoon. Palin and I went grocery shipping on the way home while Cash and Toby ran some other errands at Walmart. We met back at home around 7pm and ate dinner and everyone went to bed early last night. Us included. We even skipped the news to get to sleep.
