Happy Birthday Cash!

This Saturday was Cash's 2nd Birthday party, the weather was great, the people were great and he had the time of his life!!
This year we had the party at our house and rented a bouncehouse for the kiddos to play in, which even led to many of the bigger kids (adults) playing in it by the end of the night.

Here is a picture of Cash and Daddy jumping in it before the party began! Once Cash got used to the bounce house he never wanted to come out.

His party this year was Sesame Street themed. Here is a picture of his cake and cupcakes for the kiddos. He had his only personal 2 cake.

I loved the cake! It was sooo cute and was super yummy!

Here is Cash and me before the party trying to take some pictures. I learned one thing from this party, Cash does not like posing for the camera. He never would look at it. We had many close friends and family come over to the house, we had BBQ, and played lots of games for the kids.
Here is Cash and some of the other kids playing pin the nose on Elmo. As you can see Cash pinned his nose on Elmo's leg, but his little friend Cole who is pictured in the white tshirt went over as soon as Cash was done and moved his nose to Elmo's nose where it was supposed to go. These two kids have really gotten to be close. They are in the same daycare room everyday and Cole's parents and me and Toby going walking everynight with the kids, so that have gotten really close. We are super excited about it, as they live in our neighborhood and Cash will get to grow up with him.

We had a special vistor that arrived at the party, ELMO came to visit. Let me just say we owe a BIG THANKS, to my good friend SUZY TRAMEL, for getting the Elmo costume for us! It was a big hit, and even though I think that Cash was scared of him, he was a big hit at the party! A big thanks also goes to Uncle Jayson for actually playing ELMO!! I know that the costume had to be hot and Uncle J was such a great sport about it!!

Here is Cash getting ready to eat his cake. I really thought that he would dive into it this year and he really did not. We will see tomorrow on his real birthday what he does when its just me and Toby around. I think at times he was overwhelmed with everything.

I love this picture that Julie got with her camera of him biting into a Cookie monster cupcake!

We had two pinatas for the kids to hit, we had an emlo and a cookie monster. All the kids got into the pinats and got lots of Candy once they broke. Both times when Emlo and Cookie monsters head got hit off, Cash freaked out and started screaming and crying trying to put Elmo back together. I think that I tramatized him! Note to Self: No pinatas when they are characters or people!

Here are the boys getting their candy out of the bag later on in the evening! It was a great party!
