Weekend Time

Dad was at the house waiting for us when I got home on Friday after work. We ate dinner at the house and then headed to the football game. Palin is always so excited to get to wear her uniform! 

 

 

This weekend we did not have much of agenda. We stayed busy but we it was fairly relaxed

. Cash had a football game on Saturday morning and then Palin had a birthday party for her friend Anthony.The boys headed hunting at lunch time on Saturday. Toby spent some time coloring on Saturday morning with Palin.

Saturday evening Cash had his friend Jaxon over to spend the night. I took the kids to dinner and then took the kids to Walmart. Cash had some of his birthday gift cards that he wanted to use. He got an army village and two new monster trucks.

 The boys had fun playing with the new toys and playing the Wii until around 930pm and they both decided that they were tired and wanted to watch a movie in the gameroom. I made them a pallet and they fell asleep shortly after.

    Sunday morning after Jaxon left we got up and headed to Sunday school, we didnt stay for church this morning. We went to lunch at Cici's and then headed to dollar tree to get a few things to make crafts with.

We spent the afternoon playing and building things. They kids made haunted houses and colored. When it got close to dinner time we made bubble pizza and they helped me make it. We took a walk last night and then took showers and they headed to bed.  

 

Busy Saturday

Saturday morning kicked off Cash's first football game of the season. It was a busy day. He had two games that morning and Palin had a soccer game. Went went from one sports park straight to the other.

As soon as her game was over we loaded up and headed to College Station to take Cash to his first Texas Aggie football game. My parents drove up to College Station and met us to take Palin for hte night. They took her to Chuckee Cheese and then took her night swimming for the evening. We took him to Wings n More for dinner and headed to the stadium.

We shortly realized that there were not enough parking and headed to the mall to ride the shuttle bus. It worked great. The game was great and we got back to my parents shortly before 2am.

More Birthday Celebrations

Cash's Birthday Celebrations

This weekend was a busy one! We had soccer games and celebrated Cash turning 8! Our theme this year was space!

We had a small cookout on Saturday night with my parents and a few friends. We cooked out hotdogs and just hung out for the evening.

The kids took turns with hitting the pinta. We ate cake, opened presents and had a great time!

Palin's 1st Soccer Game

 

Palin had her first soccer game on Saturday and it was hot! She was so excited to get to finally wear her uniform and get to play.

She learned that you have to keep up and teamwork is important in a game. The girls ran and fell a bunch throughout the game.

She ran off the field numerous times in tears because she was hot and thirsty. But she went back out on the field eat time to play.

She got to play some key roles and got to kick the ball a bunch, she still has some key roles to work on.

They ended up winning the game, pretty good for the first time they had played!

We have made it through 2 weeks of practice with only one meltdown. She is figuring it out but hates running. You have to encourage her to keep running... its not her thing. But she does like soccer as a whole. Her first game is this weekend. She is getting excited about that. Poor thing, her face is so red after practice she is just like her momma in that sense.
