I AM GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!!

Yup, that's right! I am going to an aunt!! Okay, maybe not techincally but as close as I will ever get to the real thing! Our good friends Jayson and Erin are having a baby!! Jayson and Erin is who Cash refers to as Uncle J and Aunt E. They have been around since the the day Cash was born and have spoiled him rotten, so I am super excited to get to spoil theirs. So in 8 months Cash will either have a best friend or his future wife!! I can not wait till they find out which it will be!! Since I am the only child and Toby's brother is not planning on having kids, this child will be like a niece or nephew to me. We will be there the second it is born, and will not miss a thing about its life as they have not missed a single thing about Cash's life. Afterall, thats what really matters in life being there for the big events in life, so it does not matter if its not my real niece or nephew! I will treat it like it is.
Here is the Funkhousers with Cash at his 1st birthday last year!!

Uncle J and Cash
Congrats again to them!! I am so excited!!!

College Station! Whoop!

This weekend we headed up to College Station with the Funkhousers, and the Schultz's, for some much needed time away from the kiddos! ( Dana has been home all summer with her 3 kids, she needed a night out). We drove up Saturday afternoon and got there in time to eat dinner at an old favorite called, JCODY's Steakhouse! It was Yummy! After dinner we had time to kill so we decided to take some pictures around town.
Once we headed up to Northgate around 9pm, we started at the Dry Bean Saloon. Here is a picture of the 3 of us girls leaving it that night. We then went to the Dixie Chicken and then onto Hurricane Harry's for a night of dancing! It was a blast!
Here is Erin and me!

The Group

The 3 stooges!
Jayson, Toby and Todd
Funny how times change. This group started out as the Tractor Supply Group as all 3 guys above were TSC store managers at one time together, and over the last 2 years Jayson and Todd, have come to McKesson to work with me, and Todd is the one who referred Toby to who he is working for now! Funny how things work out! Thanks for a great time out in College Station guys! You all are some the greatest friends we could have!

Nothing

Nothing nothing nothing....Not much exciting has been going on this past week, we spent the weekend in Stephenville with Toby's parents and no one in our house has been feeling that good this week. I wanted to post some pictures of Cash, for everyone to see how much he is growing and turning into a little man!!

Hard to believe that in 13 years he will have permit and be driving at 15!! Kinda scarey how fast time goes by.
No, this is not my dead flowers in the picture... it was at a restuarant, but I thought that it was a cute picture of Cash.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Today was my birthday and WOW what great day it was!! Let me start at the beginning, about 3 months ago, I decided that it would be fun to have a girls day and I got tickets to a show called Great Day Houston, its talk show that is taped live at the CBS channell 11 studios. Its kinda of like the local Oprah show. The host is Deborah Duncan and she is AWESOME. Well, me and two of my best friends or partners in crime went. Julie Roth and Suzy Tramel we have been friends through middle school, high school, college and now marriage and kids. My day started when I woke up at 5am to meet the girls and there were new sandals and a card from my hubby.

Here we are outside the Channell ll studios this morning, we look like ants but its still a cool picture.

Here we are left to right: Julie, Me and Suzy. We had to get to the studio this morning by 8am, and believe it or not Julie and Suzy trusted me to drive! Anyone that has rode with me knows that they were saying their prayers! We arrived safely at 740am, and were able to take some pictures outside the studio before the show begin taping. Notice all the CBS in the background, it kinda makes the pictures look like a red carpet event. Its probaley as close as we will ever get to one, so we pretended!

Here Suzy and I are in the lobby waiting to be seated for the show. Side note: no one sent the memo to us to let us know that we would be only 3 of 10 white people attending the show today. So we were a little out numbered. But we had a blast. We were probaley about the 50th people to be seated, and they told you where to seat, so by the time that we walked in, we figured that we would be towards that back, well SURPRISE for us, we got sat on the front row in the middle!!! It was perfect! I was so excited.

Here is Deborah Duncan, host of the show, this was take from our FRONT ROW SEATS!!!

Here is the 3 of us at the show, after the taping was over. When the show was over they gave out tickets to the Martina McBride show this weekend! We each got 4 tickets a piece. We were pretty excited about that. The co -host of the show today was also Mary Lou Retton, she was an olympic gold metal winner years ago. After the show was over we headed to The Cheesecake factory for lunch.

Here i am with lots of tropical drinks! Don't they look fun?! They were all quite tasty and the food was yummy! Let's just say there were not weight watchers friendly.

Here we are eating lunch, our waiter was nice enought to take out picture for us.

After the Cheescake factory we were off to do some shopping, and what fun we had! This picture is taken on the waterway outside the Cheesecake factory. Notice Julie's foot kicked back, she is trying to start modeling!

Suzy and I found these super cool sunglasses for the 4th of July that we could just not live without!! NOT! Julie did do some great shopping she even bought a piece of furniture that we had to load in my truck. After all of our shopping was done, we took Suzy to her car and Julie and I headed back to Conroe. When we arrived we did some more shopping at the outlet mall and then it was off to pick Cash up. We met Toby when he got off work he took me shopping and bought new lots of bath and boby works for my bday! Yea! and then met my parents for dinner at Outback (once again not on weight watchers).

Here is the super cool cake that Toby got with a VEGAS theme since I love LAS VEGAS so much!! After dinner my parents came back out to the house with us and we had cake. It was super yummy!

Here is me and my cake before we ate it!

I could not end the blog without a cute picture of Cash eating cake! Cash gave me crayons and coloring books so we can color together! Isn't he cute????

Thank you Suzy and Julie for a GREAT DAY ( ha! At GREAT DAY HOUSTON). I had so much fun with you girls today! Thanks for all the great gifts, I love them all!!

Mom and Dad, thanks for dinner and the sunglasses and bracelet and $$$, I will have fun spending it all!!!

Summertime Pictures

Here are some pictures of Cash and how much fun he has been having this summer when he goes and visits my parents. They take him on walks, and play in the pool. I think that he is enjoying the summertime.
This is his blue car that he got for Christmas, Cash has spent many hours riding in it.

Cash has become a big fan of cookies, here he is eating on a wagon ride... this wagon was mine when I was a little girl!
I am amazed at how big he looks in this picture. He looks like a little man, the is not a sign of baby left in him!
Here he is packing his suitcase to come home.

Look at my teeth that I finally got!!!

Do you think that I could be the next Brad Pitt???

New Bed!

Tonight after work we went and picked up Cash's bed. We found a guy who carved it by hand and put the ATM emblem on it. Now he has not choice but to be an aggie!!

Happy 4th of July!!

We had a great 4th of July! We spent the afternoon as a family, riding 4 wheelers and hanging out at the house. That evening we went to a block party in our neighborhood, and were able to meet all of our neighbors that we had not met before. We left the cookout around 8pm and came home to meet some of our friends that came over with their kids to pop firecrackers. When we got back to the house Cash traded in his baseball cap for his Uncle Sam Hat and wore it all night!
He was the best little boy last night!! At the cookout he just sat in his chair and ate his hot dog and watched all the people. When we got home he played with our friends kids and then when we got ready to pop firecrackers, he just sat in his chair the entire time and watched them. He was perfect!!

We had a great 4th of July! Lokk at my little man!! He is growing up so fast!!

This was at the end of the night, he was waving his flag!!
Hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July!

Cash and Julie

I have been on vacation all week and Cash and I have been busy. We have gone swimming two different days, the first was a trip to the Conroe Public pool and today was to my parents. We took Julie with us today and had a blast. My dad was there today and cooked out hamburgers for lunch for us. Cash is starting to really like the water. He likes to jump off the side of the pool into the water. Here are some pictures from our day!
